Kayak Fun Race
Come join in the excitement of the annual Sea Cavalcade Kayak Fun Race!

What:
Sea kayak race open to all ages and abilities. Race categories will include single kayaks, double kayaks as well as a special junior and family race category where the emphasis is on fun!
Where:
The race will begin on the water to the north side of the Gibsons Harbour building, near Armours Beach.
When:
Sunday July 26, 2009: 10:00 am
Registration:
Can be done in advance by visiting or contacting Sunshine Kayaking, located at the end of Molly's Lane in Gibsons Landing: Tel: 604-886-9760 — or via email: info@sunshinekayaking.com. Race day registration and check in will take place between 8:30 – 9:30am at the Rugby Club at Armours Beach.
Cost:
$8 / kayak with all proceeds donated to the Sea Cavalcade to help put on this great weekend festival.
Who can enter:
Racers of all ages and abilities are welcome to join. Those with limited experience are asked to bring a friend / parent and enter the double kayak category. Racers are welcome to bring their own kayak or for those requiring kayaks. Rentals are available through Sunshine Kayaking. Reservations are required.
